Hi, I’m Allyson, the heart, soul and positive energy behind Santaw Photography!
Photography, to me, is so much more than taking your beautiful photos. It’s about connection and about freezing moments you’ll one day look back on and feel all over again the quiet glances, the unexpected laughter and the love that shows up when you’re simply being you.
That’s why my approach is slow & intentional because the magic lives in the real moments. I’m a feel-everything, love-deeply kind of person the type who believes joy is meant to be shared and moments are meant to be remembered.
MY WHY
I’ve learned through my own journey that life moves fast, and moments don’t wait. Photography became my way of helping people hold onto what matters the seasons that shape us, the people we love, and the stories we carry.
WHAT'S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH ME
When you step in front of my camera, you don’t need to know how to pose or show up “perfectly.”

WHERE MY PASSION BEGAN
I was born & raised in NH. I fell in love with taking photos from a young age. I used alot of disposable cameras when I was little & one year my parents bought me a 1990's Barbie Polaroid Camera. I have always had some sort of camera on me at almost all times. To be honest I truly never thought I would want to make a profession out of my passion for photography. However a couple years ago 2021-2022 to be exact some close friends started asking for photo sessions. Of course I accepted, it was some small simple family photos then some business headshots, a wedding,back to school photos & even some mommy & me sessions.
One day I got to thinking about how cool it is that I could make a profession out of something I truly love & enjoy. Like everyday I can just look forward to every aspect of my job from talking to clients, taking their photos, editing them & getting to witness the excitement of being able to have those memories to hold onto forever. So I decided to take a huge leap of faith when I randomly found a studio space that immediately spoke to me right in my hometown of Keene, NH. I opened February of 2024 & offer in studio as well as off site photography service.
I am also a big animal lover, this includes wildlife. I find it extremely relaxing & it "fills my cup" so to speak immensely to be able to spend a day out driving around New England & see all the beauty that surrounds us. Raptors, eagles especially is a favorite of mine I spent all of the summer of 2023 watching & learing the eagles daily routines. Now I have multiple eagle pairs & nests I am able to just go watch anytime, though it doesn't come without lots of hard work. I find a joy in sharing these photos with my clients, friends & family.
I'm so excited to see where I will be in 10 years on this business venture. My hope is that someday I will be capturing family, maternity & wedding photos on beautiful beaches everyday of the week. I also hope to be featured in wildlife magazines & have the opportunity to go on wildlife tours to see an even wider range of animals.
